Handmade Skincare is Made with Love

by Corey Radman February 16, 2016

Our handmade skincare products are all made in exactly the same way, with the same ingredients, in the same place by a small team lead by our founder, Sherelle Reed. Because she formulated the products, tested the products, and knows the products, she chooses to make them herself.

That kind of scrutinizing care ensures that each product has the highest possible quality. Sherelle says this company is her mission in life. "I've been incredibly blessed to be on this path," she says. "We've been made to feel that we have to choose between good for you and effective skincare. But it doesn't have to be an either/or proposition. Nature is very powerful. I think these products really help you believe in your own body's ability to heal itself."

All that love for natural remedies, healthy living, and people goes into every single product Sherelle makes. Her handmade skincare products really are made with love.

Find them all at our website.

How to Find The Perfect SPF: Understanding Sun Protection Factor 101

For sure you need to be wearing a daily moisturizer with a minimum of an SPF 15.  You also need to look for sunscreens that are labeled Broad Spectrum because this means they have passed specific laboratory testing that shows they protect against both UVA and UVB rays.  If you plan to be in direct sun for more than a few hours, please reapply your sunscreen.  Also, if you are planning on swimming or sweating heavily opt for a Water-Proof formula as well.  It's best to avoid chemical sunscreens altogether because let's face it; we don't want the chemicals we put on our skin to end up in our blood stream. Also, because we don't yet know the impact that nanoparticles will have on our health, it's best to use mineral sunscreens that specifically use non-nano minerals.
