While you are all, or at least have the potential to be, a White & Elm woman, we know we are not all the same!
We’ve shown you a Day in the Life of the “average” White & Elm Woman, but now we’re going into specifics! This post will be profiling a day in the life of the W&E Yogi!
I wake up early and greet the day with gratitude and a positive affirmation to set my day up right.
I roll out of bed and set out into my mindful meditation practice right away. It doesn’t take much to center myself; I meditate for ten minutes and feel ready for whatever the day throws my way.
I hop in the steamy shower and immediately reach for my Sweet Almond Foaming Cleanser. As I gently massage the cleanser on my face it awakens my senses and refreshes my mind.
I’ve been vegan for a few years now so I don’t consume any animal by-products but that also means I choose not to use any products that are not vegan either. That’s one of the reasons I love White & Elm, they are 100% vegan and cruelty-free, so I can rest easy.
I grab a green-juice on my to work. After work I head to the studio to practice some hot yoga to relieve myself of today’s stress.
Later on, while my dinner is cooking, I mix up a Spirulina Superfood Mask which I follow up with the Rosehip and Argan Antioxidant Serum to protect and revive my skin.
I fall asleep, grateful for today and all the days to come.

While you may be cleansing, moisturizing, and applying sunscreen, daily. If you’re not exfoliating, your skin isn’t as healthy as it could be. It is very important to exfoliate your face and body all year round. But after the winter, sloughing away all that dead skin seems even more necessary.
For sure you need to be wearing a daily moisturizer with a minimum of an SPF 15. You also need to look for sunscreens that are labeled Broad Spectrum because this means they have passed specific laboratory testing that shows they protect against both UVA and UVB rays. If you plan to be in direct sun for more than a few hours, please reapply your sunscreen. Also, if you are planning on swimming or sweating heavily opt for a Water-Proof formula as well. It's best to avoid chemical sunscreens altogether because let's face it; we don't want the chemicals we put on our skin to end up in our blood stream. Also, because we don't yet know the impact that nanoparticles will have on our health, it's best to use mineral sunscreens that specifically use non-nano minerals.
